Chapter Profile

Bro. Baron Arday is a Spring 2025 initiate currently serving as the 22nd Chapter President and Dean of Membership. He is a senior majoring in Neuroscience on a pre-medical track from Silver Spring, Maryland. Bro. Arday works to serve our community outside of Alpha as a Research Assistant for Kirkwood Labs, a Student Assistant for the Center for Social Concern, and Liaison for Black/African American Affinity for the Men of Color Hopkins Alliance.

Bro. Kemka Okoroafor is a Spring 2026 initiate currently serving as Chapter Vice President and Treasurer. He is a junior majoring in Neuroscience on a pre-medical track from King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. This year, Bro. Okoroafor works to serve our community outside of Alpha as the Research, History, & Education Chair for the JHU Black Student Union, a Wing Executive Officer with the United States Air Force ROTC Program, and a Research Assistant at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

The 2025-2026 academic year was an opportunity for the Sigma Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. to continue dedicating our efforts to service both in Baltimore and abroad, fostering chapter growth as we enter our 35th year, supporting the scholarship of Hopkins students and Brothers, and providing experiences on campus that improve the student experience.
